Great food, great service

We came on a midweek evening for a meal with colleagues. Fairly quiet but to be expected. We ordered a mix of cold and hot platters for starters to share, and individually had a variety of grilled meats and fish for mains. All served hot and tasty. Finished with Turkish coffee and baklava. Bill came to around £50 pp + tip (meal included alcohol), so reasonably priced for a generous 3 course meal (we were all stuffed) in this day and age in my view. Thoroughly recommended.

Solo Shopping Lunch

Popped in here for lunch whilst I was shopping. What a lovely restaurant, attentive staff wasn’t made to feel awkward because I was alone. I had an Efes and the £15 lunch menu with Taramasalata starter which came with delicious hot bread and a Chili and a garlic dip.,The Taramasalata was beautifully creamy almost whipped. I then had the meat Moussaka which was hands down the best Moussaka I have eaten. I had given up ordering it in other restaurants because it was either over cooked or sloppy and tasteless. The sauce on top was a good texture and plenty of it and the meat, aubergine and potato was so tasty. It also came with salads and rice. I will not hesitate to come back.

Great food and service

Terrific lunch today, the £15 pp 2 course meal deal is really good value with generous helpings and great food. We both had the Chicken Shish and the staff were so kind, allowing me to have an avocado salad instead of the usual accompanying vegetables with only a small extra charge. I fully expected to pay the full amount and much appreciated the gesture, and the excellent service from Aayush and Ismail. Will definitely be back.

Great food. Small Portions.

Food quality was great. Portions, not so much. Lamb Shish was maybe five or six pieces of lamb, as delicious as it was (and it really was), I do not feel it's the best value for money. Hospitality was good, staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating, but waiting times were pretty poor, we went on a Wednesday night so can't imagine how it must be on a weekend. I think there are better Turkish options out there.

Felt sad for this restaurant and let down

I would love to be able to give a better review. But really felt ripped off. First I have been here before. And can honestly say that the portion sizes have got smaller. And the quality is just ok. the starters were ordered and before we had finished our starters the mains came up ?? Which to me is a sign of rushing. But we got to the restaurant at 7 . I had the mixed shish . Which was just ok and smaller and dry . Three of us did not want rice or couscous. So we asked for chips. And was abruptly told it's an extra side ? To me this is quite tight . So getting an extra £19.50 from us . The size of the chips could not cost more than £1.60 . Advice is if you want people to come back and spend their hard earned money you must work with customers and appreciate them and not making them feel ripped off. All people want is good food. Value for money. I would have been happy to leave a large tip but left a smaller tip to compensate the chips . I must point out that the staff was friendly and helpful.

Dear Terry, our portions haven't changed, we are serving the same amount of food to our guests. Unfortunately it's our policy that if you do not want the two choices we have available with our meals the rest of the sides are at extra cost as stated in the menu. Unless our guest have allergy or gluten free we offer only 2 sides at the same price. We apologize that you felt rushed, this is something we will look into and work on for the future.

Slow and unfriendly service

Booked a table for 7 they called and changed it to 8, service was rude when we turnt up told us they where very busy, left us standing there while they found us a table then left us at the table for 15 mins before getting asked if we wanted a drink! Asked for a pinicolado they said they don’t do it asked if they did anything similar just shrugged shoulder!!! theSlow and unfriendly service made me want to leave. Will not be going back

The best Turkish food and service your likely to ever get

I've eaten in more Turkish restaurants than I can count and this is the best by a long shot. The decor is a bit glitzy but it's good fun. Incredible lunch deals for £15 pounds with a really good selection of starters and mains. To top it all off a dedicated barman with vast experience who will make you any cocktail you want.

Poor performance.

Disappointing, £24 for a single skewer of lamb shish, does the combination skewer mean that that you get half each of lamb & chicken? Left hungry and went to eat again elsewhere. Wouldn't mind so much, but out of habit I tipped. In total with a glass of wine, £45. To leave hungry????

Disappointing review as our prices are clearly displayed on our menu, on window display before you walk into the restaurant, We don't change prices in the restaurant. You could have asked a member of staff about how each meal comes for info. If you weren't that happy you wouldn't tip! I don't know anyone who would tip for a bad experience. If you let us know you're still hungry we would have given you some food on the house to ensure you left happy.

Too bright and crap food

I thought after the big refurb we could expect more. Service was much better but food was bland, prices overpriced, lights far too bright and music too loud. But mostly; food hasn’t improved

Second time myself and my friends have visited this restaurant for dinner. Unfortunately when we visited in January it was much more pleasant than last night. The service really lets the restaurant down. Our starters and first drinks came out within 10-15 minutes which was fair enough. But we then waited another 30-45 minutes for our mains and to request another round of drinks. We asked for a birthday treat for our friend got charged £10 for it then we saw the pot washers eating left over food from customers plates. Raises a concern for the treatment/welfare of staff.

Dear Rachel, Firstly we feed our staff with ANY food they wish to eat, they don't need to eat left over staff food! they don't eat whilst working. Everyone has a break time for food. Secondly our birthday cakes don't come free ALL guest are informed about the prices from the desert menu and if you agree we will make a big celebration scene for the birthday guest, if you don't agree with paying we even give some guest on the house plates to ensure they leave happy. Thirdly weekends we are very busy so there is a longer wait then usual so we do apologize for your wait for the mains,

Drinks are nice, food is average, won’t be returning!!

We came here for the first time as we’ve seen pictures on social media and been recommended by friends to visit. It’s very pretty inside and decor is lovely however, food wasn’t great it was average. The starters were nice but the bread was very doughy and had no flavour and it’s kept in a massive storage box for everyone to see and it looks really bad!!! They don’t even grill it properly they use a toastie machine where everyone can see right in front of the kitchen. We ordered chicken Shish for our main, it didn’t taste great. The chicken was okay, the salad there’s barely any on the plate and it tasted gone off especially the red cabbage. I also ordered two drinks which on the menu says 2 for £16. However, the waitress said that it’s only 2 drinks for £16 if you order 2 of the same drinks at the exact same time otherwise it doesn’t count. For me that’s a strange rule it should be 2 for £16 throughout your time in the restaurant. They would make so much money that way. Anyway, the drinks were nice I will say that, but altogether we paid £96 and it was NOT worth that much money at all!!!! Sadly we won’t return here as very overpriced and food is average.

Dear Guest, Firstly how is the bread being visible a problem? we think its not an issue that the bread is in a box which is covered which is freshly cut daily, we toast our bread and serve these as a FREE complementary treat with our lovely garlic and chill sauce. Secondly, the salad is served at a great portion because we have a lot of salad which goes to waste because not all guest can finish it, and we must say the salad is cut on a daily basis also. We offer the cocktails at 16 pounds and 2 have to be the same because they are both made at the same time, this has been a rule for years and it is a rule which many restaurants/bars follow. Before we take payment, we always ask at the restaurant if everything was ok, it's a shame you didn't mention anything in the restaurant so we can help and solve any issues. We always want our guests to leave happy! Thank you

A gorgeous restaurant definitely very instagrammable. Food was great really tasty lamb shish, our family all ordered something different and we all enjoyed the Turkish food. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was despite saying we were dining at TK for my daughters 18th they didn't recognise this in any way which was a shame. And the 2nd reason was through no fault of the restaurants at all, there was a very large group in the restaurant, they were very loud, kids running about everywhere, large groups of adults getting up and down all the time. At one point the poor waitress could get herself heard over the noise the group were making. They just spoiled an otherwise lovely meal.

Happy every single time I eat there

I’m big on friendly service and the staff here always make me feel very welcome. I’m also big on good food that fills me up and I’m always amazed at how much food arrives whenever I order a main course here. The bread and dips that come with all orders are delicious and I honestly feel that I should be charged for them as they’re so tasty (but never am charged, I should add). Our waiter was called Ismail and couldn’t have been friendlier. I wish every restaurant ticked all these boxes, but they rarely do. Highly recommended. Oh, I don’t eat red meat or chicken and had the salmon with vegetables and mash. Loved it.

Works Christmas meal

Late booking for a works Xmas evening meal on a freezing cold snowy Monday night. Large choice on the menu and 14 meals arrived promptly. Food presentation was good and arrived at the same time from steak, lamb chops, burgers, kebabs, pasta dishes and salads. Plentiful. Calamari sadly was bland in taste and a little expensive for drinks especially a cappuccino coffee at £5 Served by friendly waiter Aayush

Above and beyond service 👌

A trip to one of our fave restaurants was had yesterday because as it was an impromptu birthday treat for me by my husband. From being welcomed personally at the door by Oijay (as we come a lot) and served by Ismail, the service and food was once again exceptional as always. The restaurant is decorated very bespoke and tasteful, staff and chefs are very smartly dressed and always wearing a smile 😊 Great choice of cocktails, we had a lovely time, when they found out it was my birthday their service went above and beyond and was gifted my desert and sung too 🤩 Would thoroughly recommend a trip to this restaurant a solid 5* on all accounts Well done team we shall see you again soon 🥴
