My husband and I visited the Bay Horse for the first time. What more could we ask for, the most delicious food and great value for money, first class service, friendly, efficient staff, easy parking and we were even treated to some great live acoustic music. It certainly won't be our last visit. Many thanks to Francesca and her team... More

We were treated to Afternoon Tea by our Daughters. Our first visit to this extremely friendly Pub. Made us feel very very welcome and the Afternoon Tea was lovely, fresh cut sandwiches of choice, scones, cakes and as much tea as we could drink. Highly recommend and will certainly go back to try some more of there menu

My Sister treated us to an Afternoon Tea, it was lovely. Very impressed at being asked which fillings of sandwiches we would like, the beef and horseradish was amazing. There were four large scones with jam and clotted cream and a further four slices of cake. We couldn't manage all of this spread, however we were able to take anything... More

Meal to celebrate a birthday, not a huge choice of starters but there was something we all wanted, breaded brie was fantastic. Steak was really good, a couple of us had ribs and they said they were really lovely. Few different desserts were had and they all said they were really good. Generous portion size brilliant service thoroughly enjoyed the... More

We popped in at 12:45 for some lunch today (group of 7) and were the first in the building other than staff. We ordered drinks and food within 10mins and were left waiting for the food for well over an hour (4 sandwiches, 1 jacket potato, 1 pie of the day and 1 sausages and mash). The staff made a... More

Ruined our Xmas party, food hour late even paid in advance and pre ordered. Roast potatoes so dry couldn't eat them, frozen veg. Poor knowledge on allergies, cheese croutons in a soup that wasn't stated on menu! Stingy grave and custard. Advertising as DJ but he looked like he was off the streets and singing songs no one knew. No... More

Our small-ish office team of 12 were treated to brilliant service by a very attentive Christmas elf - Oliver! - who went out of his way to ensure that we had a good evening. Our food was great and the atmosphere in the pub was very festive. Food and drinks were all served promptly too and portions were generous but... More

A really well-organised Christmas meal - great food and service. Thanks Oliver, you were fantastic! A great venue for a Christmas meal, big tables a good distance apart to allow for privacy.
