Great food - great service - very clean

Had a lovely dinner with my Dad Staff were very helpful with my allergies and I had the chicken tikka Balti cooked mild - Dad had chicken masala. The food was prompt and tasted great - beautiful flavours All food including rice and onion bajhi was hot. Restaurant was very clean, plenty of room at tables and the staff were attentive Going back soon

A third visit

The first time we went, it had just opened and was quiet. The owner welcomed us and we enjoyed it - see earlier review. Then we went again and it was busier - the food was good and again we enjoyed the night. We recently tried our third visit - it was RAMMED. So obviously word is getting round. The food was good, and the waiters were attentive despite being run off their feet.

Size of side orders much smaller

Gad take always from here many times. The food is always consistently good. Unfortunately this week we noticed that the take away containers for the side dishes and rice were much smaller than normal? Very unimpressed that they are now really small side orders - cutting portion sizes is a fast route to cutting customers satisfaction levels - probably order from a different restaurant next time, which is a shame as we’ve always enjoyed the food here.

Terrible place, do not order

Terrible place, do not order from here! Was due to arrive at 19:20, did not arrive until 20:25. Called the restaurant multiple times and said three times it’s on its way. Missing dishes. Ordered a vegetable Naga and chicken curry arrived and one of our family members is vegan so had no dinner! Then to top is all off the delivery driver crashed into our neighbours car. No apology from the restaurant. Shocking customer service.

Just not nice......

Our friend booked the table after hearing good reviews. We arrived on time and was promptly given the drinks menu. I ordered a large red wine and the waiter said, Why don't you buy a bottle? I said because I just want a glass. When we were ready to order we decided to be adventurous and have chef specialities... I asked the waiter to recommend one out of two and was advised the Shaktora and I asked for it to be spicy and we asked for the naans to be well done. My curry was not spicy, the naans undercooked and my curry had some kind of fruit in it. I told the waiter that I would not have ordered it if it had fruit in it , he offered to cook something else but by now I didn't want another dish. The other dishes were not great either and the rice was stodgy. They did eventually take the price of my curry off the bill and gave me a free bottle of wine but this has not encouraged any of us to come back. This is such a shame as it is a nice comfortable restaurant.

Great Experience

Ignore the reviews which moan about the length of time they wait for takeaways I have eaten here several times and one of the reasons you might have to wait is because everything is cooked from fresh. I have sat and watched the kitchen open and seen the chef at work throwing in the various spices from scratch. The results are fresh and delicious tasting food. I've also been in for takeaways and seen the same. Once lockdown is over we will be going back.

Absolutely awful experience on New Year's eve. Food was due to arrive at 8 15. Called at 9 15. No apology, was told to wait 25 more minutes. Called 35 minutes later, he said 'just wait another 5,10, or 15 minutes, something like that.' They then kept ignoring my calls and had the cheek to change the status to delivered!! Spent ages on Just Eat chat (by this time 10 30) to be told they can't give refund as they had lied and said delivered, so needed to be taken further. Imagine our surprise when they had the cheek to try to deliver at 10 last 11!! They told Just Eat that they won't provide a refund for a late delivery, even though we never accepted it when it finally arrived. Ruined our evening and would never go back.

Excellent food and service

We had dinner ordered across the menu a variety of things. The service was excellent, friendly and attentive and the food was excellent, light fluffy naan bread, all delicious without being too heavy. I would definitely recommend and will be going back.

Great food spoiled by poor service

Went here for first time with two friends last weekend sat down around 8:40, we had the usual poppadoms then a shared appetizer. The mains didn't arrive until way past 10 approx 10:20 which was a bit late. It was however very tasty but there are not enough staff as the place was packed out. Probably won't go back on Saturday night again.

Lovely Food

Eaten here many times and the food is consistently good. The chicken is always fresh and perfectly cooked. The Murghi Masala is superb as are most of the dishes. Next to the Hop Inn for a pre-dinner drink and a perfect night out. Recommended restaurant with friendly staff.

Takeaway - Disgusting service

Honestly, I cannot believe how rude the person on the phone was. Our order took an hour and 20 minutes. Then an item was missing. Then we had a hard piece of what I can only describe as wood in our meal. When I called the restaurant, whoever I spoke to, hung up on me! I am disgusted!

As good as any curry i've ever had.

Had a table booked but had to cancel as a few have fallen to the bug so orderd a takeaway online and getting a 20% discount. The food turned up nearly on time but was worth the wait we had 6 different mains and all were spot on. As good as I have ever had and ive been eating indian food for 40 years.

Second week running ordered take away from these guys...... and the food is absolutely amazing, honestly not one fault. Food is amazing, delivered on time and reasonably priced.......I'll definitely be back for my Saturday night take out. Thanks fellas 👌

On arrival at the restaurant we were greeted with a friendly staff member and shown to table. We ordered drinks and had poppadums to start. Nice selection of dishes to choose from . When food arrived it looked so good. The flavours were good.
