Came here on a Friday evening, from the minute we walked in the atmosphere and decor was very pleasant, very polite staff, offered to take our coats, and pulled chairs out etc.. Service was very quick, and we were offered bread before our meal. I ordered a seafood risotto, which was amazing and they certainly weren't stingy with the seafood,... More

Apparently Pancetta spaghetti in this establishment is actually breakfast bacon. I pointed out the discrepancy, but no apology, just some vague comment that that's what is used in this country. Sainsbury's down the road sells it. Not happy, the meal was far too salty and had thick lumps of bacon, NOT pancetta. It's 9.15 pm, was told to wait till... More

We ate here before a visit to Queens Theatre so only had time for main courses and drinks. We had a variety of meals and all enjoyed them. Some of the staff had trouble understanding our requests, and the credit card machine was not in use. It did feel a little chaotic. Spent £25 a head.

My girlfriend and I went here for what was supposed to be a romantic night out on Valentines day. Instead it was a free fall into a bottomless pit. We arrived in good time and were seated at our table (about the only thing that went to plan) and presented with a set menu each. My girlfriend booked the table... More

Visited with my family and found the service to be appalling. The waiter did not listen to our order, rushed our starters and the food was plonked down at the nearest customer so he could pass it to the correct person. CASH ONLY as apparently their card machine was broken.

I have been to Due Fratelli a few times now. I have always found it a chilled, relaxed restaurant . The staff make it as though you are eating in their big front room. It's a welcoming place. Although some people may not like the style of service, I found it like a holiday experience. The take it in your... More

Great place to go if you're looking to eat somewhere that isn't a chain restaurant and therefore "predictable". It's fun, it's a little bit quirky and if you're not in a hurry and want to take your time go to this restaurant. The waiters are funny ( not everyone's cup of tea) and it really took me back to Italy.

Not as good as it used to be. Sadly it feels like they're struggling at the moment. Dessert seemed like it was from tescos.

Everything was the worst you can imagine, terrible food and the most appaling service anywhere ,unfriendly ,unprofesional , and the food? You could tell it was straight from the supermarket, the same with the desserts, never seen a homemade tiramisu cake frozen of course, now we get to the watered down wines with the dirty different glasses. The whole experience... More

Having made a booking for our Christmas lunch at 1.30 today, and then double-checked it was OK to add 2 more people, we arrived today to find the restaurant was closed!! We telephoned from outside the restaurant to check if they were going to open, and was told that they had messed up and would open at 4pm. They would... More

Description
Traditional Family and Child friendly Italian eaterie.
Classic setting, with an informal cozy and relaxed ambience .
The restaurant is popular for friends and family as well as for an intimate meal in romantic surroundings by candlelight .
A set menu is available and offers great value, as well as a very well priced drinks list that has a good selection of Italian wines and beer.
Children are always more than welcome.
