It's been many years since we last visited The Bull. A large modern restaurant extension, very pleasant stuff and very good food. Even on a busy Sunday lunchtime the service flowed and the food was very good.f

My Daughter in law booked 12 of us in for an evening meal as a treat for my Wife's 80th Birthday. What can I say apart from it being decidedly average. We all placed our orders, shortly after, an empty side plate was placed on the table in front of each person, the bread came 5 minutes later. The starters... More

I find it a bit harsh for you to go on here, especially after i dealt with the issues on the night. A couple of points that I would like to mention though is that the "empty" side plate is for the complimentary bread which is served in a basket for you to help your self to while waiting for... This is a very old-looking pub which has been extensively refurbished with a large modern restaurant extension at the back. We stopped off here on a whim for Sunday lunch as we were hungry on our way home from a weekend away. We arrived, unbooked, at 1:30 and were greeted by a friendly lady on the reception desk who whisked... More

We went to The Brantham Bull to celebrate my wife's birthday and were very pleased with our choice. The food was excellent, served well by friendly and helpful staff who made us very welcome. There were several other couples plus a larger family group and we were sensibly seated in the smaller front room rather than the larger main restaurant... More

We had a family party Sunday lunch a group of 10 the food is fantastic, the service staff were very helpful. I highly recommend this pub, you will wait a little while, but it is worth while, the views over the river are beutiful, and the whole experience was very enjoyable. I am looking forward to going again.

I live locally and would use the bull more if the time waiting for food was a lot quicker, food is always excellent with a large choice and have never had a bad meal , some of the best around, but its not ideal if you just want to pop out for a quick meal,We eat out at least once... More
