ordered a chicken shish, patates salatasi and chips. Patates had no egg, spring onion or parsley like specified...basically potato's in tomato sauce. Chips where lukewarm and not salted. Chicken shish was was the worst I'v ever had, bland chicken and crap rice with a side...of plain bread. The best part orf the whole £22 pound meal was the salad.. but even that was nothing special. Hadn't visited this restaurant for a good while. The food & experience were as good as I remembered & will go again. The complementary Meze is a nice touch. We shared the mixed platter between us and this was plenty. The side salad was also...really well made.More

This place is the best if you want a proper Turkish. The food is fresh, staff friendly and inviting and you leave feeling full! Both eating in and takeout quality is 10/10, you get more than what you pay for and it always tastes delicious!...Always return here and I thoroughly recommend !More

My wife looked up 'best place for halloumi' on our way to Southend so we stumbled on this place. Fantastic meal, great menu. When we realized that we were there only people in the restaurant NOT from eastern Europe then we had an idea we'd...made a good choice. Food didn't disappoint. Complimentary cold starters and bread. Nice cold beer. Nice service and atmosphere. £60 for two courses for two (including tip) but more than enough food. Would recommend and would go back. Thanks!More

The best take away in southend. Very delicious and fresh tasting. The portion sizes are huge so me and husband share now so we don't have any waste

We had never been to Southend so didn't know the area and a friend and I wanted to go out for sit-down meal. Ambience inside was lovely. Staff were really attentive and friendly. They let me try the wines before choosing which one I wanted...which was an amazing and personal touch and was so appreciated. Extremely generous portions and worth the money. Great quality products and we were both very pleased we chose to eat here! Good location, near to the High Street and seafront. Would 100% recommend! They also do takeaway and delivery which is fantastic.More

My first time here at Southend-on-Sea and was looking for a place to eat, found it on Google and I can confidently say that it was amazing with the meat very tender and succulent. Very tasty meze to accompany the main dish. The staff is...friendly and my friends loved every bit of the experience.More

Have ordered so many times, but third time in a row that an order has taken 90 minutes and when it arrives, its either wrong, cold or both. Everytime I call, customer service is non existant. Plenty of other options out there for turkish.
