Went here for a mid week date night. Staff were very friendly and got us a table straight away. Good sized menu with a very good selection of food to choose from. Food arrived in good time all freshly cooked. Some great flavours in the...dishes and all was throughly enjoyed. Not the biggest restaurant in the world so may need to book if going at the weekend. We went here last night for a rare meal out and I’m delighted to say that SoPa was outstanding in every respect. The restaurant is modern, clean and inviting. The range of dishes on the menu is perfect - all the expected favourites, plus some...chef specials for the more adventurous. I started with the grilled chicken satay - beautifully made with a homemade peanut sauce. My partner had the vegetable spring roles and found them delightful. For our main courses, she had the classic red curry, while I opted for the lamb massaman. It wasn’t just good; it was, hands-down, the best massaman curry I’ve ever had - absolutely full of the most amazing flavour, and full of big chunks of perfectly stewed lamb. We had an extra side of egg fried noodles and these were, again, perfect - not greasy in any way. We washed it all down with a bottle of Monsoon Valley Thai wine which went perfectly with the food. For two of us, the bill - including wine and service charge - came to £83, which felt fair. Nat SoPa herself was working on the restaurant floor on the night we visited. This is also something I like to see - when the owner is properly invested in their business on a busy Friday night. It’s no wonder to me that this restaurant is excellent in every respect. We will be coming back for certain.More

Its over a year since we last went and we had forgotten just how good SoPa Thai really is. Since our last visit the restaurant has had a makeover and its really lovely now. We were five for lunch on a Sunday. We all had...a mix of starters and then took advantage of the various lunch specials including one of the vegan specials. Everyone was delighted. Not only was each meal really tasty and cooked to perfection but presentation has gone up several notches. Our waitress was really helpful. With a vegan in our midst and someone with a nut allergy she knew exactly what was in each dish and was able to guide us. All in all great experience. In fact a Five Star Plus experience.More

Excellent food. I had the tempura vegetables then the Massaman Curry and it was all delicious. The desserts I wasn’t sure about but thought I would try the sticky rice and mango and it too was absolutely gorgeous.

We got recommended this place and although it’s not in a area we would normally eat out we decided to try it out. Wow, the food was delicious and the staff we great we will definitely be back. Nice generous portions and we were not...rushed so we able to relax and enjoy the meal. Definitely try the specials, the Massaman curries are to die for tasty 😋More

Did enjoy my time with a tasty thai food. I had a lunch menu set. It is a chicken basil with rice and served with crispy fried egg. The owner is really nice and friendly. I do recommend this Sopa thai.

Have had takeaway from here before, but thought we would pop in. Was great service and a nice ambience. Food was really tasty and fresh, and for a lunch was great timing as we didn’t have to hang about for long to get our food....Really friendly staff.More
