We were staying nearby and booked this in advance. It wasn't particularly busy when we eventually found it as quite remote location. Food was good, lovely fish and chips in crispy light batter. Service was good as was the food, worth a visit.

Couple of drinks in the afternoon sun. Lovely looking pub and the Sunday roasts that were being served looked great. We will definitely have to eat here next time.

We came here a few years ago and had the most delicious food. Now it serves ordinary pub food. A couple left a table near us in the bar and it was not wiped down before the next people sat there. Will not be back.

Dear Albull67, Yes, we allow dogs in the garden, bar, and restaurant (behaviour permitting) and as a whole the pub is extremely dog friendly. We do not allow dogs into our rooms, however. Kind Regards, The Plough
