How is The Royal George rated?

Having just moved to the area, we were keen to find a good ‘local’! 10 minutes walk and we were enjoying a great pint and lovely food at The George!! Very friendly staff, excellent service - can’t ask for more! We’ll be back!

Friendly and attractive pub/restaurant

Recently had a business lunch here. Friendly welcome and good service. Reasonable selection of typical pub food. Had scampi and chips, which was perfectly ok. Good selection of beers

Lovely garden

Lovely pub - sat outside in the pretty beer garden. Staff were very nice and helpful. Food let it down slightly - we had a fish bap and a Caesar salad. They filled a hole but maybe would just go here for drinks.
