An nice enough pub but nothing special save for the very nice staff and the excellent pieminster pies. If you are staying nearby, as I was, then worth a visit.

Came here after a couple of visits to watch football. Pie, mash, peas and gravy for £9.00. Its good price and super tasty. Staff are really friendly. Pool table good quality, not often you find that in City Centre. Great pub!

Callum really looked after us. The Hobgoblin was delicious. We each had a different pie, very tasty and complimented the beer.looking forward to a revisit.
