About
It's great to be back! Thank you for your ongoing support over the last year. A few things to consider before you visit: Booking is not essential, though we would recommend you book in advance. Outdoor service is limited to guests in groups of six or two households (no limit on number) is permitted. Please note we may need to vary our opening hours and food service times given the time of year and the unpredictable nature of our Great British weather! Track and trace requirements have changed meaning all guests over 16 years of age must check in and provide their contact details. Unfortunately we must refuse service if guests do not comply. Feels great to have a member of staff angrily bark "FULL!" at me before I've even reached the bottom of the steps. I get that it's a super busy time 3 days post-lockdown and you might be a bit overworked. But come on dude!

Friendly service. Simple pub food, they serve a proper pie.....one with a top, bottom and sides. Non of the deconstructed things aka stew with a pastry popped on the top.
