Easily the best breakfast available in the town centre. An olde world pub with a range of real ales (always in good condition from my previous visits ) and craft beers/lagers Friendly staff eager to please.

What has happened to what used to be a really nice coaching inn. It's grubby, the shelves appeared empty of product, tee shirt and vest clad staff, furniture and decor in a very bad state of repair, shame, shame, shame.
Full off intimidating people not very nice, toilets disgusting filthy broken seats leaky taps, historical site but please don't waste time or get ripped of money wise

Food very good and served by pleasant staff too. The courtyard out the back is good for fine days, but the inside is cosy if not.
This pub is typical pub food. service was Ok but only just. Dining tables were left un cleared and you had to wait for the servers to clean away the old glasses and plates.
