I recently visited The Queens Head for a birthday meal with a party of 12 people - as soon as we arrived, we were sat down and had our drinks order taken and food not long after. The customer service was faultless and the waiting...time for such a big group was minimal, highly recommend this place for food or just drinks, great location as well!More

Four of us visited the Queens head on Friday evening. We were greeted with a very warm welcome and went on to eat delicious food. I had the lamb shank which I would highly recommend. Couldn’t fault the service drinks were kept topped up and...food came quickly despite it being busy. Great place for a meal wether it be with family or friends. We will most definitely be back!More

Five of us visited the Queen's Head today for lunch to celebrate my son's 30th birthday. We sat in the garden, which has plenty of tables, as it was lovely and sunny. The food was delicious, well presented with good portions and we all enjoyed...our meals. The service was first class, everyone was very friendly and attentive despite it being busy. When we were leaving my son was presented with a bottle of good white wine to enjoy at his leisure, which was a really kind gesture and much appreciated. Prices are very reasonable and good value. The pub is cosy with a good atmosphere and one of the best places to eat locally. I can highly recommend a visit and we will definitely be going back soon.More

Fantastic country pub with amazing service We booked a table of 14 for a birthday. From the moment we got to the pub we were made to feel welcome. The food was brilliant, there is a very good menu, service was prompt couldn’t fault a thing....Organising a birthday cake was no issue and the fact they gave my daughter a bottle of Prosecco was a beautiful touch! Would highly recommend this gem if a pubMore

From the moment we walked in, we felt very welcome. The pub is cosy, everyone we encountered was friendly, and the service was great - just the right amount of attentiveness! We live locally and have been meaning to try the Queen's Head for a...while, and are glad we did. My wife does not normally like the standard "Sunday roast", but was a huge fan of the baked aubergine. Good roasts, good beer, and also a very good wine list. Will return!More

I, with a small group of friends, eat here regularly (perhaps once every 4 to 6 weeks), good food, great atmosphere and can thoroughly recommend the slow cooked pork belly!

We had a lovely evening at this pub. The staff and service was great, along with the food. Although it was a busy Saturday night, we didn’t have to wait long at all for our food to be served. The garden in the summer is...also perfect for drinks! I highly recommend this pub for all occasions.More

Dogs aren't allowed in the bar but there is a covered area beside it and that's available for dog owners or they can use the garden where there are plenty of tables.
