Drink tasted dirty. staff were bothered about their holidays than serving. Overpriced drinks. One to put on the won't go again list

Decent beer and really nice service from the bar staff. The food is really basic but good enough. They allow you to take in pizza from the wood fired mobile van that comes on a Tuesday. Worth a visit.

Me and my husband came across this pub while in emsworth, it's a very small pub but very welcoming. I had a roast pork and he had chicken, both meats were cooked perfectly, a wide range of fresh vegetables and the roast potatoes were really fluffy and crispy. The best roast dinner we've had in a long time. The only... More

This is a lovely local pub, a large choice of ales available, and great food! Found the pub by chance on a dog walk and will defiantly return!

Just checking out the only pub I have not been to in Emsworth. I have tried to get in here before, but it gets crowded with locals in the evenings. It is a very small L shaped pub with 2 doors into the bar and a dining area with rustic wood tables & chairs. The beer was well kept and... More

Amazing Sunday roast lunch, great portion with lots of different vegetables. Nice and hot too. Good friendly staff and a nice cozy atmosphere. Will definitely visit again.

Cosy Bar with open fire and a warm welcome to match. The food really was like a home cooked meal. Lots of lovely vegetables and piping hot. Big portions and great value.

This is a gem of a pub found in the very pretty Emsworth. It is a true small locals pub with lunches served most days and special menus for dinner several week day evenings.

Stayed in Emsworth couple of days so had chance to sample most of the superb Ales this pub had to offer. Very busy, lovely log fire, great atmosphere & great food. We had a lovely lunch of a Treagust saugage baguette and their homemade soup. Good portion and reasonable priced washed down with lovely pint of Oliver's Island

Have just come back from our Monday regular Pie night. Peter and Dawn are such a lovely couple. The bar staff, Harvey and Zoe are great. We both had Steak and Ale pies tonight. Really good value. I had a couple of pints of Oliver's Island in perfect condition. Proper Pub with a lovely atmosphere.
