Expected good things of The Crofton. I had been told that the food was very good! It wasn’t. My beef and ale pie was soggy, and although the veg was nicely cooked it was barely warm! The toad in the hole was a large Yorkshire...More

A large group of us booked the function room at this pub for our annual Xmas lunch and it was superb! It was my first time attending but many of the others had been going for some years and that speaks for itself! The food...More

Good car parking, scruffy interior, (chipped tables and tired furniture). The food was reasonably priced but a little uninspiring. Good range of cask ales and the staff were friendly. Just needed a bit of a makeover.

Once again, quick, friendly service with an extensive menu. All our meals were really good. You can have smaller portions on some meals if you wish. A bonus - they serve Sharps Doombar beer.
