This is not local to me but when we were here it was good quality food and fantastic service. We will definitely go back!

Been in for Lunch today, was with my daughter in her power wheelchair. Access and tables - no problem for the wheelchair, staff attentive and made sure we were in ok. We had cocktails to start - Very Good Food Arancini to start - wow...nice big balls lovely tomato based sauce We had a pizza and lasagne, mixed salad and chips - salad very fresh - all food really tasty and good portions. Had lemon sorbet for desert, just right and my daughter had a crepe. Really good food and service, great family ran restaurant. Will return again. ThanksMore

Our first visit to the Sorrento, a resturant that came highly rated. My partner and I unfortunately chose the monkfish from the special menu. The fish had not been prepared properly, the membrane had not been removed. The fondant potato was under cooked and dry...as was the tiny broccoli floret. The bacon was very fatty and also under cooked. All in all a poor meal. When staff were informed the reply was well I did ask if everything was OK. Our food had only been with us for about a minute. When the bill arrived we were disappointed to see that the full amount had been charged. I cannot envisage ever returning.More

Although local, have not been for a long time and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and variety on offer. Service was attentive and the staff checked we were enjoying our meal. We spent the most lovely afternoon at Sorrento, with over 30 family and friends to celebrate our son’s Birthday. We were offered the space at the back of the restaurant, which worked really well with ample seating and space for our guests. The restaurant manager...was very flexible and accommodating, we were able to decorate the space and make it our own for the afternoon. The food was incredible, we agreed on a selection of dishes beforehand; with each dish brought out at a time to suit us - always fresh and super hot, our guests loved everything! The staff went above and beyond catering to our every need, nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend this place for a celebration or otherwise - we can’t wait for our next visit!More
