Don't let the poor reviews for their Chinese food put you off from getting their Fish ’n’ Chips…. So I’ve only recently discovered this place, less than a year or so and admit that I have not eaten off the Chinese menu, but when ever I’ve been there it’s always been busy. The fish has always been fantastic, the batter... More

Called in on the way home, waited an inordinate time due the the cook splitting his time between the fryer and the wok. Opening up the paper less than six minutes later to find lukewarm chips and stale and ex frozen fish that tasted awful. It will be a long time before I re-visit.

Just when I thought chinese food in Fleet couldn't get any worse, these guys dashed to the podium. 90 minutes to deliver (50 mins estimated), quality of food was really bad. Plenty of it but not nice at all, none of it. Proper rank. Stick to fish and chips here.

I gave this place quite a negative review when it first opened as the service was off and the food not great at all but I tried again recently and actually I think it's really improved a lot. Friendlier than my first visit and the food was good.

Chips are great chip shop chips, and large portion gets you enough for two easily. Orders don't take long and you can order Chinese food as well. Need to park round back behind launderette when road parking taken.

Went here instead of our usual chippie because of airshow traffic. First time I have had to wash the floor of our car, my clothes, hall and kitchen floor after bringing in food. It was dripping in grease and spilling everywhere. Couldn't tell the difference between the cod or haddock. Most of it left on plates. Definitely won't be going back.

Called in having dropped my wife off at a local pub. Ordered Jumbo Cod and Chips. Had to wait for the fish to be cooked. Drove home in about 10 minutes, unwrapped the food and found very hot fish which was very fresh and succulent the chips however did not meet the quality of the fish. Having said that, I... More

Fish and chips fine, nothing to shout about unfortunately but I felt compelled to write a review based on terrible customer service. Assistant was on her phone the entire time she served myself and several other customers, only to hide phone when the boss appeared! Simply rude!

We have used this restaurant many times for both fish and chips and Asian food. We have tried other fish & chip restaurants but none of them seem to match up to the Flying Fish. The fish is a good size and freshly cooked. The Asian food is also extremely good and we have tried both the Chinese and Thai... More
