We were very pleased with the food we ordered. It was plentiful, tasty and nutritious but we were not pleased with the surroundings or some of the staff. Although the surroundings have changed little over the years the cafe now allow dogs , which to...some non dog owners is a negative, and when we arrived we were offered a table very close to a couple with two dogs and the dogs were sitting in seats which would have been far too close to us. We declined. IF dog owners must bring their pets everywhere surely the animal must be made to sit on the floor under the table. I would not be happy sitting on a seat newly vacated by dogs ,for obvious reasons as well as matters of hygiene. This brings me to my second point, the aforementioned dog owners clearly knew the management and they were all buddy , buddy thus the staff allowed them to have their dogs on seats. Also, when a young woman came in a member of staff gave this lady a prolonged hug and others crowded around chatting, blocking the doorway and with their backs to customers. Surely , whatever the relationship, it should be enacted behind the scenes? We were made to feel as if were irrelevant.More

Fabulous brunch or lunchtime cafe with amazing coffee and drinks located at the war memorial end of the high street. 3 salads lunches especially good. Staff are v friendly and food quality v good Yesterday we saw a notice that they are now doing some...evening openings too. Worth a look.More

A welcome with a smile on entry, polite and efficient taking of order, good quality coffee and cake. Can recommend both the vegan chocolate orange cake and the carrot cake. Overall an enjoyable coffee and cake experience.

I came to Petersfield with my wife and daughter for an appointment and decided to stop for some lunch as well. Not knowing any of the eateries I did a quick search on the internet for something close by. We decided upon The Natural Food...Deli and what a great find this is. The food was fresh and very tasty, I had three kinds of salads with quiche of the day which was just fabulous. The flavours and fresh herbs used made me want to try and replicate them at home they were so good. The staff were also lovely and friendly too. Can't wait to come back and try another dish, shame they don't have an establishment in my local town of Haslemere, I'd be in there all the time. Enough gushing, well done to the team.More

We had breakfast here and we did enjoy it although I think the breakfast selection could be expanded a bit. I’m thinking more use of mushrooms, peppers, spinach, homemade baked beans etc at breakfast time. Frittata maybe. Or Huevos rancheros. Something to emphasise their fresh...produce. Also possibly something to keeps the kids happy. They can be fussy eaters - luckily ours settled for toast and jam but I don’t think there was a second choice they were interested in. PS we enjoyed the choice of breads eg sourdough and rye and coffee was lovely.More

My partner and I visited Petersfield early in the morning as we are considering moving to the area. We found The Natural Food Deli close to the property we were viewing just on the edge of the high street. The food options were very inclusive...(I eat gluten free where I can) and extremely tasty!! We had the avocado gluten free option with a poached egg and bacon (my partners request for fried egg was accommodated)! The portion was amazing - honestly such beautiful presentation and taste! The person who served us had such a beautiful, warm and welcoming face, a lovely smile and the energy was just amazing. We would definitely return here and could see it becoming a regular spot for food at all times of the day. If you work remote it would be a perfect spot for a few hours on your laptop, blog or book writing etc! Decor was quirky! Very progressive menu overall and would love to try more. Absolutely gorgeous food. Myself and a friend enjoyed a veggie breakfast, a juice and a ‘real’ hot chocolate. Generous portions and super fast service. Rob (owner) made us feel really welcome and it had the most magical atmosphere. Will definitely come again! 5*!!!!

Particularly good range of gluten free foods. Large choice of GF cakes (rather than just the usual dreaded GF brownie!) and breakfasts, salads and sandwiches can be made GF if requested. Also very good options for lactose intolerance, vegetarians or vegans. Coffee excellent - well...balanced (not too bitter or sweet) with full flavour and fresh aromas. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about cross-contamination risks. We felt safe eating here with our dietary requirements (Coeliac disease and lactose intolerance). It is tucked away just off the high street so not too busy and has a nice ambiance.More

The best cafe in Petersfield! Caters for gluten free diet which my wife was so happy about. Staff are so friendly & have time to speak to you. Definitely one of our favourite places to eat in petersfield. Highly recommended!
