I've been visiting the Harrow for close to 30 years, which makes me feel very old (and possibly underage when I first started going there). I had a quick lunch there last week. It's as good as ever. There's one soup (pea and ham. It's a meal in itself). The ploughmans comes with a lump of fresh bread the size... More

I had come across this pub when out for a walk and decided to go back and visit it with my husband. A sunny spring day and the pub was busy. Very small and cosy inside and a beautiful garden to enjoy the spring sunshine. Not an extensive menu but generous portions and flavoursome. We both had sandwiches and the... More

Really a one-off, old fashioned, unpretentious, cosy, non gastro, dog friendly charming pub serving honest, wholesome food. Give it a try - you don't need to dress for dinner!

How a proper pub should be. No music, no tv, no fruit machine, no pool table. Great Beer & Cider straight out of the barrel, "Home" cooked food. Outside Loo! :) We've been coming here for years & Love it to bits. Take cash, & don't ask for coffee!

What cought my eye when I read about The Harrow were the words 'No Microwave'. The Harrow is a jewel, an Eco Pub and a time machine all rolled into one. If you love the countryside and the country pub atmosphere, this a place to be. Lovely people, original home cooking and lovely pub dishes. There is not a lot... More

Lovely place and people. Full of character. Lunch was very good. It was a nice sunny day. I had cycled there and sat outside. Excellent beer. Interesting history as well.

I lived locally for a while and the Harrow was always a great favourite. Now, on returning, I was reminded that some things change little over time; that there is a great comfort in constancy; and that I very much love their homey food and beer from the keg. Is it fine food? No. Is it just what you want... More

I have been visiting The Harrow for many years, and love the fact that it has not changed, it's like travelling back in time. The beer is excellent, wines limited. Cash only, no credit cards, and no one under 18 inside, although well behaved children are tolerated outside. The menu is simple; this is not a gastropub, but hot scotch... More

My first visit and I liked it so much, went back a week later. Lovely people run the pub and it has a warm welcoming feeling. Just a perfect British country pub. Lovely experience.

I have known this pub for nearly forty years and it has not changed . We love sitting in the wonderful cottage garden in the summer or in the homely warm bar in the winter .All the food is freshly made .The menu is simple and has not changed for years which is quite comforting as you always know what...
