We love going here. This is our favourite Pub in Romsey. The food is great quality and appeals to most pallets. There is the standard burger and chips but also different dishes. I enjoyed the duck confit starter. The service is good and friendly

I had lunch yesterday with a group of six, a first visit for all. The restaurant section was very quite, only three tables occupied during the period. That said the service was very slow, the table offered was rather cramped whilst there was a round...More

Recently had the pleasure (?) of visiting the pub. Interior is very dark and gloomy, after 5 minutes waiting eventually was served and requested drinks and food. Drinks reasonable priced and food arrived after a 10 minute wait. Ok, but pretty average on the whole.

Lovely looking place but the bar staff only seemed to acknowledge you if you were a regular. Fish finger sandwich was nice but the beef one was tough as old boots. To make matters worse we found out after that it has a zero hygiene...More

We have a rule that we never go somewhere new to celebrate anything. We broke this rule and went to the Olive Tree. Rule two is if it's nearly empty leave, we didn't. Sadly the experiance proved both rules. Although we are not price sensitive...More

A great hideaway in the centre of this remarkable town in central Hampshire. An impromptu visit in terrible English Autumn weather, real log fire to warm up, and a great range of food and drink. We would visit again when in the area..

A nice pub, food was good - if a little overpriced for what you get. Service was very attentive and nice place to go on a cold lunchtime.
