Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was our first time eating at Peggy May’s Cafe. The manager is so lovely and their team are very welcoming. The food was delicious! A variety of options including veggie on the menus. We went for the full English and the Brie, cranberry and...bacon panini… so good. If your in Lyndhurst and looking for Brunch I would definitely pop in to Peggy’s:) We will see you guys again! Thank you xMore

Popped in here for a light bite during a short stop in Lyndhurst on the way to Burley where we were staying. The young lady who served us was lovely, the service was quick and the food was really good and well priced. I went...for the salmon sandwich and my wife had the leek and potato soup of the day, which she said was excellent. We enjoyed it so much we returned the next day to grab a bite to eat before our drive home, the wife had the soup again and I had a lovely toasted sandwich, and I treated myself to a milkshake which was great! Would certainly visit again when next in the area.More

This was a return visit, and food and drink were EXCELLENT. What spoilt it for me were the dogs inside the cafe. I don’t like dogs inside when I’m eating at the best of time, but certainly not when they are barking and running free...the length of the cafe. They have outside tables - I’d recommend they have a ‘dogs stay outside’ policy.More

What a lovely friendly welcome from the young women here! The cakes are not the cheapest but they're very, very good, and the coffee likewise. It was a shame we'd already had lunch!

Lovely little cafe for lunch or a snack when in Lyndhurst. Really delicious thick cut sausage sandwiches and the milkshakes are so tasty. The scones and cakes are also great.

Sadly not. The seats at the front are ok but the road at the front is busy and after 10 am just like the road outside the tables are usually full!
