Very tasty, freshly made food with friendly service!

The waiters/waitresses here are very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is very clean, modern, tidy, spacious and even decorated nicely for the festive season with various decorations and a lit up Christmas tree! The food we had was very fresh, cooked to a very good...standard and was very tasty! I highly recommend the pizzas: they are delicious! They are wood fired, cooked professionally in a proper pizza oven! The chips are also very nice, some of the nicest I’ve had! I definitely recommend having a meal at The Forage, everything is cooked fresh and is very good quality! I will be back!More

Excellent

This is a fantastic place to visit for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The staff are always very friendly and welcoming and the food is delicious. I have visited a few times and have never once been disappointed.

Terrific brunch

Very nice cafe, nice food great menu

This little cafe is great we always stop off here on our walks through the New Forest. It gets busy on a high street full of cafes and restaurants, so that’s a sign of how good it is. The menus is not over egged and...just right, prices are reasonable and the cafe is clean and well presented. The food is nice, good quality and well presented. Most importantly for me its very dog friendly. If i had to improve things, the staff are little stern looking and old late 1800s school teacher/matron in their approach. This will sometimes make me go up the road a few shops for a lighter happier service. Lighten up and smile a bit. However this will not stop me coming back, and we will be there in December on our trek through.More

Excellent Lunch

I met a friend here for lunch. We both chose Sourdough with Avocado, Bacon, Halloumi and Tomato, which was delicious. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient. We’ll be back.

A superb find

A really lovely place. It has a great atmosphere, the smell of the food as you walk in is amazing and the portions are huge and everything was delicious. The service was great and we were made to feel extremely welcome as a family with...young children. I really wish more restaurants made you feel like this in the UK. Super.More
