I visited here for Sunday Lunch with my family. I had telephoned before to check whether they could cater for my restricted diet (Gluten Free) and they were very helpful and said they could so I booked. I was not disappointed. Very professional. They exceeded...my expectations. The food was delicious and I didn’t feel like I was missing out. They made sure I had all the trimmings that everyone else had and I would like to thank everyone working today for the great service they provided to me and my family. First visit as in the area bank holiday Monday , Inviting clean and spacious eating areas. Ordered large mixed grill and steak with all the trimmings , Food arrived quickly and was excellent . The homemade onion rings are to die for. All meat cooked...as requested and was piping hot. Good ale and cider too. Lovely staff and nothing was too much trouble. A real gem and will certainly call again if we are in the area. I imagine it is lovely for children as there is a lovely beer garden with child friendly climbing experience . Well done all.More

The White Lion is rated the #1 place to eat in Leominster. From our experience today, this is a difficult rating to justify. While the staff were, broadly, friendly - one waitress was helpful, the other pretty disinterested - the food was, at best, distinctly...mediocre. We order variations of steak, gammon and chicken, all of which appeared at our table in a kind of grey/black colour. The food was very salty - regardless of dish - and the quality was simply not what we would have expected from such a highly praised pub. The #1 place to eat in the locale. So: while the White Lion is probably just about ‘fine’, it is absolutely no more than fine. Moreover, in the context of its rating on this site, I’m sorry to say it is very disappointing.More

Good food, cold beer, good value for money and a nice atmosphere. That is everything you need for a great night out with friends and family!

Super Beer! A delight of prawn cocktail , sauce just enough to coat the sauce rather than drown the prawns, crisp fresh cut salad. Steak a little over medium asked for distinct charring on what I received. Staff warm and welcoming. Toilets clean

We often use this fantastic pub to meet up with family ( as some of us live in Hereford, while other’s Leominster) and it’s never disappointed us. Booking to reserve a table easy, owners and staff extremely friendly. Place is clean and tidy. And a...lovely beer garden. L, and great service, your made to feel very welcome and at home. We can not fault the food. I had the gammon , many of the others had a mini mixed grill, my mum had steak… all piping hot and delicious! Really worth a visits. Just returned from a lovely evening here. Had a booked a table, we arrived half hour early. Wow! What a great find. We stopped by chance for Sunday lunch on way back from Somerset. Not expecting to find anywhere without booking. The white lion staff were brilliant. So accommodating and helpful and although they were busy they Couldn’t do enough for you....The food was amazing and big portions. Will definitely go there again and worth the trip .
