After hearing good local reviews, me and my partner decided to order a delivery. Ordered at 6.50pm, arrived at 8.45pm nearly 2 hours later missing a curry, the missing curry was finally delivered at 10pm and the food wasn't anything to write home about. Definitely...won't be ordering again.More

After our order being pushed back an hour, we eventually get told the food is just going out for delivery. This normally would be fine but after another 25 minutes I have to call them again because there’s still no sign of the food. I...get passed onto a “manager”, that literally just says it will 10 minutes and hangs up the phone. A further 20 minutes and the guy comes to our door (not before delivering it to the wrong house). The food is now cold when it arrives to us almost an hour after the guy on the phone says it’s ready. The chicken was like rubber and some very undercooked pieces in there. Rice is also swimming in water. I would call back to complain but the attitude of the staff and the ordeal or actually ordering food was enough for me. AVOID THIS PLACE.More

I was little unsure of using this takeaway after reading other reviews but omg it was amazing. The most tender chicken I’ve ever had in an Indian takeaway and all the dishes so were tasty. Would definitely recommend!

Ordered a delivery as soon as they opened and told 45min/1hr. Arrived after 35mins and was very tasty. Starters and sides, were very good but lamb dupiaza and Naga chicken both excellent.

Usually we have a great meal but this time the onion Bahji was solid and Luke warm and the popadoms were soft and seemed stale. The rest of the meal was not that hot and needed to be microwaved.

I visited without pre ordering. Asked to wait inside on a comfortable sofa. The food was very good and only had a 5 minutes wait.

We were worried about recent reviews.. but glad we ignored them. Food was on time , delicious, hot and as ordered - definitely will be ordering again.

Ordered food for collection- still had to wait 15 minutes on arrival. We travelled home to find that the rice was missing so had to return to takeaway to get the rice. Came home to find that one lamb curry was actually chicken but couldn’t...be bothered for a second return visit. The taste between the curries was so similar we couldn’t actually tell which was which. The onion Bhajis we’re actually inedible so we just threw them out. Sag aloo was good, the poppadoms fresh and the tandoori chicken was also nice which is why I haven’t given it one star.More

Ordered a takeaway via JustEat website at 19:10, the website said the order was out for delivery at 20:05 but by 21:00 it still hadn't arrived. My partner rang 3 times within the following hour only to be told on each occasion the order was...10-15 minutes away. On the third occasion, the member of staff queried what town we live in (we live just 10 minutes down the road in Ryde). He then said he'd ring the delivery man to check his location ...& hung up the call!! My partner waited another 10 minutes & rang for a fourth time. Eventually, the takeaway arrived at 22:30 - boiling hot but a whole 3 & a half hours after ordering. They had clearly overlooked the order... & not for the first time. 4 months previously we waited 2 hours but thought we'd give them the benefit of the doubt. Absolutely diabolical service & the food was nothing to write home about. After such an inexcusable wait the moment had well & truly passed. Will never order from here again!More

Thought we’d give this place a whirl as we’d had a leaflet through the door and it looked reasonably priced. Now wishing we had paid that little bit extra and gone to Ryde tandoori instead. Firstly, full disclosure, I’m from Birmingham (the birthplace of the...Balti) and therefore I am probably quite spoiled when it comes to Indian food. For this reason, I have opted for poor over terrible as a rating. Also, some of our meal was very nice. The rice was nicely cooked, my daughter enjoyed her chicken tikka and the meat samosas were spot on. Naan bread was okay too. Sadly, the rest of the meal was a big let down. The sauces were bland and smooth, with no fresh ingredients like onion or tomato and no other veggies. The sauces were like something you would get out of a jar, only not your Pataks variety, but more like the Tesco value stuff. The chicken had an odd texture, like it had been boiled or cooked too fast and put me in mind of tined meat, or like those pre-packed roast chicken breast you can buy at Tesco. I left some of the chicken as it was inedible and one piece was a bit pink in the middle. One of our meals was veggie, which consisted of potato, peas and green beans, not really much variety. They also forgot one of the dishes, which they did resend the driver with. They were very apologetic, but didn’t offer anything else for the inconvenience. It arrived the best part of an hour after we called to tell them they’d left it off. I could really kick myself now for not checking here first. I hate leaving bad reviews, and I couldn’t fault their manners or customer service. I was just really disappointed at having spent £40 on a meal that we didn’t enjoy, and would hate for any other Balti loving Brummies to visit the Isle of Wight and experience the same disappointment. Ordered a takeaway at 5.20 but still hadn't arrived by 7.40 despite several calls on the listed number. Promised would be delivered within next 10 minutes but didn't. Cancelled order and lo and behold received a call from the delivery driver that he was at...our house with the delivery. Told we had cancelled the order and had gone to fetch a kebab which was very nice thank you. Won't be returning especially as food was not that good. Don't waste your time or money.More

Absolutely delicious, the meal was tender and full of flavour and came with a complimentary poppadom, salad and yogurt dressing. All at a very reasonable price and fast delivery time.
