Nothing quite beats this dining experience on the Isle Of Wight. My partner and I went for dinner having had this place recommended. The staff were polite, happy and helpful and had a great sense of humour. The food - well you can't really review...More

We took 2 boys to eat "On the Rocks" and they loved the experience, apart from some anxiety over cooking chicken on a hot rock and making sure it was cooked properly...probably better to have the steak, burger, lamb or tuna option if you are...More

Lovely staff and atmosphere, great quality seafood and meats and our two boys loved the experience - our six year old thought it was the best restaurant on the Isle of Wight. Thoroughly recommend it (especially the lamb)

It's a big place but you'll need to book at its popular. The friendly staff accommodated our booking at short notice but we didn't ever feel rushed. Having to cook my own food on hot stones would not usually sell me on a restaurant but...More

We had a great time! Cooking our own food on hot volcanic rocks was a new experience for most of our party. It was a lot of fun and the meat was excellent. A bit more non-meat variety would have been great; although the seafood...More

Been there 4-5 times - no problems and staff always great. Have met owner in another setting. Seemed reasonable chap but I guess he will choose whether he feels the need to reply.
