Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stopped by for lunch with our daughter & son-in-law…he loves pizza & he couldn’t have been happier when this delicious freshly made 16” pizza arrived! The food is outstanding here and so are the staff, a relaxing place to enjoy good food & company. I...had the burger without the bun as I can’t eat bread, my burger was presented with fresh roasted tomatoes & salad, delicious! The homemade donuts with cinnamon sugar are a must they are so moorish. Looking forward to our next visit. This is also dog friendly & you can sit anywhere!!More

I visited The Hare at Blean for the first time Friday 29th March 2024. What an amazing experience from the moment I was greeted to the moment I left. Nothing was too much just incredible service and care. The food was amazing I had the...El Pollo loco burger and I must say it was one of the best chicken burgers I have had. The chicken was tender and the crispy coating was pack full of flavour. The skin on fries had the perfect balance of seasoning. I cannot wait for my next visit!More

What an amazing pub! The staff are so friendly, a very welcoming environment with a very talented piano player to accompany your Sunday dinner. Dog friendly with treats which was great too. I'm vegetarian and was amazed at how delicious the vegan wellington was. It...was by far the best Sunday dinner I've had. The brownie sundae was to die for! I hope this stays on the menu. We can't wait to come back, already looking at dates. Thanks so much, what a wonderful pub you have!More

We went for Mothers Day at the Hare, the owners Matt and Paola made us feel really welcome. The staff were smiling and friendly, a pianist played, the fire roared. The food was delicious. I have been to the Hare many times, and will go...again, and again. Highly recommended!More

Excellent waiter/waitressing skills. Cook came out to talk to customers. Good prices for meals and wines. Gluten Free/Coeliac customers catered for. Dogs welcome. And... Today; Sunday 28th January, we were entertained by a great pianist. Oooh yes, one more thing! The chef conjoured up 'Gluten...free' -- 'Yorkshire Puddins!' We're going back. That's a definite.More
