Had Sunday lunch with the family for my wife’s birthday. Roast rump of beef with all the trimmings was fantastic. Can’t recommend highly enough, staff, food, wine and atmosphere were lovely. Fantastic food, couldn't fault a thing, everything we chose was cooked to perfection (starters - mackerel, haddock tart & prosciutto. Outstanding on every level. Service was spot on. It’s a quaint yet stylish little place. The food was utterly incredible. Fresh, vibrant, delicious, perfect sized portions. We had the 'raid the larder' menu on Sunday evening. The food was superb, starters were perfect, and an even better ribeye steaks, cod and lamb followed. All absolutely delicious. Just enough room for dessert and my strawberry panna cotta was just so yummy. Good...wine selection and the service was efficient, friendly but not overwhelming. Good atmosphere in the restaurant which was busy. It's a little pricy but you do get what you pay for. Definitely the very best restaurant in Deal.More

Cute little spot, but way too hot. We have been before and we had the same issue. Food was okay, but a bit too overrated. For the price we paid we expected more. Staff were extremely helpful and attentive.

Great little restaurant! We had a lovely meal here - service was great and food to die for. We had the roast leg of lamb and cod. Both were super nice and cooked to perfection. the lamb was probably the nicest one we’ve ever had...… portion wasn’t massive, so you can go for starter as well without a problem, portion sizes weren’t too big. the crocettas looked amazing!More

Sunday lunch at Victuals was fantastic. The burger was one of the best I’ve ever had and my husband very much enjoyed his roast chicken. Thanks Rob for the attentive service.

This is without doubt my favourite restaurant in Deal. The food, ambience and service is always great. Rob and his team are to be commended for continuing to make Victuals a destination restaurant.

My girlfriend booked the restaurant for my birthday. Had an amazing experience overall. We got to sit in a private booth which made the setting more intimate. Rob our waiter was super friendly and really took care of us. Verena and the team really went...the extra mile to make the day special for us. They ordered me a birthday balloon, decorated the table and even got me a cake. I ordered the ribeye steak and my girlfriend the fish. The food was fresh, tasted great and great portion sizes. Will definitely be visiting again when we return to Deal.More
