Love the atmosphere, friendly staff, good pub food. Sunday lunches are tasty and my daughters loved the nut roast. Great burgers during the week. Great atmosphere on a Sunday night with live bands with a good mix of customers.

This is a great British pub. Real fireplaces on a cold evening. A good group playing the evening I visited. ( Sunday). Good atmosphere and warm welcoming surroundings. Nice pub. Only problem was it was difficult to find parking.

Description
The Anchor Inn is a beautiful 300 year old pub, just a few minutes walk from Faversham town centre at the terminus of Abbey Street, one of the finest preserved medieval streets in England, and very close to the historic Faversham creek. Some of the beams in the pub are reported to be from the old Abbey in Faversham.
