Booked a table for 7 adults. Never been before. This pub/restaurant was recommended to us. We loved the old building, the very friendly staff, great atmosphere and really lovely food. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening and would go again and recommend to anyone!

We just happened upon this pub whilst touring. The weather was perfect, making sitting outside to have lunch even more enjoyable. We had a ploughmans lunch and also a salad and prawns. Both were just perfect. A lovely break.

Arrived for my birthday meal and there was a small delay being seated as the place was very busy. But there was a band who were just striking up and we were well attended to considering how full the place was. It's not enormous, so the band were squeezed in, but that was ok. After we were seated service was... More

This was our 4th visit and certainly not our last as there is nothing you could fault. I have never enjoyed Sunday lunch out as nowhere other than the Plough know how to do it properly. I am very very fussy and critical and never hold back in complaining but also the first to praise. Well done to the owners,staff... More

This was my second visit to The Plough Inn. Again, the food was delicious, had a lovely fresh salmon pate starter. The beef roast was succulent, veggies hot and plentiful. For dessert was a wonderful apricot crumble with custard. Had a lovely pinot noir, to wash it all down. Perfect meal for fathers day. Thank you.

Visited for lunch, lovely surroundings, beautiful old pub. The food was very nice although the ham, egg and chips came with very few chips, could have done with a few more. My husband was slightly disappointed that a Shepherd Neame pub did not have Whitstable Bay beer on draught. However only minor gripes we had a nice lunch and were... More

Visited here last night with a hen party we were staying at the "malthouse" for the weekend. Not only was the food absolutely bloody gorgeous the staff seriously couldn't do enough to make our evening as wonderful as possible. The landlord even provided us with with comical faces to wear which was hilarious. When our taxis didn't show up at... More

Went to The Plough for a hen party. Food very good and well presented. Very good atmosphere and landlord even joined in by lending group some cards with comical lower faces on. Always asked if food was alright and if we need more drinks. Would recommend to anyone for a good meal.
