We frequent the Albion quite regularly and always find the service friendly and efficient. The food is consistently good and there is a good atmosphere. We book online and try to avoid really busy times if possible as it can get busy. They must be...doing something right! From a personal perspective, I would like to see something more than Master Brew as the cask ale choice but overall full marks to the Albion and the team. We'll keep coming back.More

Waiters - good service Food - ok , bit expensive Manager - very very rude , no customer service skills at all Not being allowed to finish our meal which we paid a lot of money for , because they wanted to take our table...You would think they would allow you to finish off , a lot of food got thrown away , Never in my life been treated so badly in a restaurant Wouldn't recommend &Wouldn't go there againMore

We booked our Christmas meal for last night a couple of months ago as have eaten here on several occasions. We booked for 7pm and received a confirmation call around lunchtime. The food and service were great as usual however.......... We was having the table...cleared after the main and was asked if we would like dessert, we asked if we could have a minute and then decide. The waiter then returned to tell us that we only had the table until 9pm as there was another booking. We asked where this had been stated and was told it was in the email. On checking we found in the small print quite near the bottom that parties under 7 were allowed 1.5hrs. We asked for the dessert menu as we had 20mins left at our table to be told there wasn't enough time so no. We asked to see the manager who himself was very rude, we explained it was our Xmas meal and his reply was so is it for everyone. We asked why we weren't allowed dessert and was told we had stayed longer than we should and needed to drink up and leave. I asked why the table behind us was there when we arrived and wasn't being asked to leave, he replied because bigger parties get longer. There was no understanding or customer service from the manager whatsoever. He was abrupt and didn't care. We had recently ordered drinks and was forced to rush them with the staff clearing the table around us. It wasn't as if we weren't spending quite a bit of money with them. I eat quite regularly at this restaurant but will now look for an alternative who has better customer service. We all working in customer service and would never speak to customers how we were spoken to. BE AWARE ON BUSY NIGHTS YOU ONLY GET 1.5HRS BEFORE YOU ARE TOLD TO LEAVE!!!!!More

Not quite as good as over the years.. Service was friendly and could not be faulted. The quantity of food was disappointing, we ordered chilli nachos starters..very much different than last visit..smaller. Steak fajita was not worth the cost, the hot plate had 5 slices...of steak.. chicken fajita similar. Other mains were OK, just. I understand restaurants have been through difficult times and inflation, keeping the price the same but reducing portions in the long run will lose business. As Saturday afternoon, I did wonder if hanging out portions for evening service as well. Doubt will go back for a year or so, which is a pity. Reputation as generous portions in this experience truly gone. Staff, premises all great. Cannot fault that.More

The family have just dined at this great venue. In a nut shell, fantastic staff, spotless interior and incredible food. Rachael looked after us and deserves a shout out. It was well worth the journey from Ramsgate to dine with you. Thank you all. Highest...recommend.More

On a freezing cold evening this restaurant met us with warmth, friendly staff and amazing food. The menu is perfectly balanced alongside a very strong wine list. I have to admit a little food jealousy when I saw my partners Fajita’s arrive at the table...they looked and I understand tasted amazing. We will be back.More

We have recently moved into the area but we had visited the Albion two years back. The Albion is a great little pub/eatery and the food in there is superb. Mexican, hot and delicious at a reasonable price. Rapidly becoming our favourite place. So, I...don't know why I'm telling you this as I don't want the place overrun.More

Excellent lunch (love the fajitas!) and brilliant service...and very good value. Bit noisy with other tables but it was great to see it fairly full on a saturday lunch time. Above all the welcome and service from the chap behind the bar and our waiter...(Sara?) was fantastic. Strongly recommend it!More
