Brought my parents here for lunch . They live in Whitstable so not far to come . Nice location with sea views. Friendly attentive staff . Good selection on menu and Specials on boards. Mum had scampi chips and mushy peas. Dad the steak and...ale pie with mash and veg. Hubby had veg lasagne and I went for the Liver bacon , mash and veg. All food came out promptly and hot . Good portion sizes and all fresh and tasty . Well kept Pale ale and lager. Two puddings ordered Apple pie and Chocolate pudding which were also nice. Reasonable prices . Would recommend and return .More

After a walk along the beach i went to Hampton inn for warm drink , lady behind the bar with short, straw hair was arogant, first: i could sit only at certain tables as at 16 the tables were already prepared for dinner at 6-...so no chance for see view. Decaff cappucino was awful - never had so bad cappucino in my life...like pond water! And that's for £3. I was given take away plastic cup so i had to remind her that im staying in and want coffee cupMore

After completing a sponsored bike ride for our local hospice we ( 24 adults). We all decided to have a celebration drink. Even though we went to order our drinks in an orderly fashion the reception from the Male employee was appalling. To be fair...the rest of the Hampton staff were very pleasant but was completely undermined by his comments, manner and attitude to us. I write on behalf of all of my group when they say, and I quote, “ we won’t be returning here”. All through one unfavourable character. Suggest a change of employment might help him.More

We received a warm welcome on arrival. There was a good choice with the menu and specials board. I had the halibut with prawn and crayfish butter which was perfectly cooked and presented. My wife had the burger with blue cheese which she thoroughly enjoyed....It was and excellent lunch and I would recommend.More

The Sunday roast was not as expected, the Yorkshire pudding was like a pancake. When we were asked if everything was ok I said “not really the Yorkshire is not right”, I was told by a rude man “tell me what should it be like...then”. He did replace it but we’d almost finished then. The gravy had some sort of herb infusion which ruined the dinner. Eaten there evenings and had nice food but the roast is a no no.More

We visited on a Weds lunchtime without booking and the pub was very busy which is always a good sign. When we arrived we were told we would need to wait for food as they had a lot of bookings but it was a nice...day so that was fine. We were actually served after only a few minutes and the food was excellent. Unlike some of the other restaurants in the area, it was not over priced and we would definitely recommend giving this place a go! As I said, the food and drinks were good, the staff were lovely and it was reasonably priced. We'll be back!More

Absolutely fantastic, the food was incredible as are the staff. Nothing is ever to much trouble. The Mackerel starter I would highly recommend, followed by the lamb cutlets with mint gravy. Be back very soon. Thank you to Steve and all his wonderful staff. Xxx

I believe yes the doors are wide enough for disabled access and the restaurant is on that level so can’t see any not. You can see park right outside too- yes on a hill but at the bottom it’s not steep. Hope this helps
