Excellent traditional pub, all wooden floors, furniture and a cracking fireplace with a large woodburner. As well as 16 pumps on the go and 8 polypins of a variety of ciders there was live music, what else could you ask for?

This was the first pub we landed in after arriving in Margate for a week's visit. It's a cosy little pub and so very dog friendly: the second we walked in the barman reached for a big jar of dog treats, much to our terrier's...More

Brilliant place for a warm, fun, jolly drink. The lady behind the bar let me sniff a few gins before selecting the one I would go for! Sawdust on the floor, warm and cosy. Loved it. Thanks for having us.

Julian and his staff are always friendly. This olde worldy pub has an open fire and sometimes has food and occasionally has music gigs happening.

A lovely local pub with great ciders, BrewDog beers and nice staff. It's very cosy here, especially by the fireplace. Great atmosphere. The car park is located right behind the pub, which is handy if you're here only for a cheeky pint:) Highly recommended!

Monday in Margate is fairly bleak with very little open. As one of the few places open we tried the lifeboat. The £10 pies were effectively microwaved pies with the worst lumpy potatoes that salt and pepper could season. To top it off, the bartender...More

We already were in the way to the car park when saw Nick Lawrence playing guitar there. Great atmosphere, small friendly pub and great music from Nick. Amazing flat coffee which was unexpected in a pub.

I'm pretty sure they are very relaxed as far as bringing your dog into the bar providing it's not the size of a St. Bernard as the bar is quite small
