Great beer, friendly bar stuff, great music, chilled atmosphere. Nothing more to say, will always visit here for a drink when out in margate.

Second visit here, good beers and welcoming atmosphere. Pie and mash looked and smelt good but we didn’t have time for food - we’ll be back!

Popped in midweek for lunch. It looks like a traditional and old fashioned boozer and doesn't disappoint. Lots of wood, big tables, comfortable seating. Large open fire. A mix of old and new, the new being a zinc bar, beer barrels cut in half for...More

Initially difficult to work out what this place was about but it was occupied by a cross section of customers. Loads of diffferent beers and ciders with an informative bar person who gave us a taster of those we were interested in before we committed....More

We were tempted in by the long list of pies offered but it was far too cold inside to think of eating. We will give it another try when it is warmer! Wide range of beers and a lovely hot chocolate!

Brewdog make some great beers and they are now available here above all else. The Lifeboat used to sell cask ale from a rack, as in the picture, and was good haven for cask beer, now it's a good keg beer venue. Don't rely on...More

Huge choice. Ales &a spirits, cosy roaring open fire and very accommodating bar & restau staff. Easy to find in the centre of an emerging vibrant community.

Cracking pub, run by a super friendly guy and lady running the bar, who made us feel so welcome. Dog friendly too, roaring fire and brilliant cheese board

I'm pretty sure they are very relaxed as far as bringing your dog into the bar providing it's not the size of a St. Bernard as the bar is quite small
