Lovely small place on the harbour arm with friendly staff and a great atmosphere. We ate the grilled cheese sandwich which is made with sourdough bread and jalapeño served with fennel and apple slaw. We also had a little taste of the deep fried cauliflower....More

The cheese toasted sandwich is not what I expected. To my taste far too greasy. It is like a deep fried toasted strong cheese sandwich. Probably pan fried in butter, but it was really too much. The accompanying coleslaw was truly lovely and I would...More

Delicious pasta, burata with pea shoots, bread & aioli. The food is excellent and served by pleasant staff. With soft drinks we’ll under £20 a head. Great.

We found this cafe by accident and we visit frequently as their cheese toasties are legendary. We have tried to replicate them at home without success. You need to book it is very popular. The service is a bit slow but it is worth it

How dare they make a toastie taste so good. It doesn’t matter whether you are a ‘cheese queen’ or not, make the pilgrimage to this toastie mecca.

Yes it does have a license, it also has an ale house next door and they don't mind you drinking their ales and ordering your food. I hope this helps.
