Really impressed with this place. Went for Veg kachori which I've never tried before and was not at all what you would expect from a typical Indian. Somewhere between a bean salad and falafel. The Nawabi lamb kebab had an amazing spicy and tangy sauce. Himalayan lamb was fine but bit too subtle for my liking. The Chicken merwad was... More

We ended up here after being treated very poorly at Shapla Tandoori. A very happy accident though! The food was delicious and the staff were super friendly. One of the best curry houses we've been to and we loved everything we tried.

We recently took a couple of friends along to Krishna for dinner. The place itself was reasonably welcoming although there wasn't much to create an ambience. The staff were friendly and efficient. We enjoyed the delightfully flavoured chicken soup which we were given at the start of the meal. The main courses were nice enough in their way but somehow... More

I have got take away from here intermittently and have always felt the quality is very high. Last night I sat in the restaurant to eat and I have to say I was utterly blown away. I am usually one of those people who sticks to a limited number of dishes but this time we asked the waiter to make... More

We've eaten here on numerous occasions since moving to Whitstable 3 years ago. It's now official.... in my opinion the Vegetable Kachori is the best starter I have ever tasted anywhere ..... explosion of tastes and spices - absolutely wonderful :)

We ate here last week, our last meal out before returning home to France...... We were seriously impressed, the dishes were slightly different to your usual Indian and were delicious. We found the portion sizes perfect, loved the way they were served. The lamb chops were especially good and plentiful. The naans were great and came portioned up, just right... More

We have eaten in the restaurant before and enjoyed the food here, as the menu has always offered something slightly different. Unfortunately, the quality does not seem so great if you order a take-away. I ordered Kerala fish curry - the fish was hard; more the texture of chicken! And oddly grey in colour... So I simply did not eat... More

Having lived in Surrey I'm finding everywhere in Kent quite cheap to eat. The food I had at Krishna was very good, tasty, hot and was quick. The peshwari naan was delicious too, then when the bill came I was pleasantly surprised. I would definitely go here again.

What can I say except what a embarrassment it was to me . . . I arrange a business meal there with a very important clients who likes hot, spicy food. . . On reading the reviews it looked like a really good place to go. . . . Oh no . . . The bombay gin tasted of water... More

I know what a good local indian restaurant is - take Babur in SE23. This purports to be something that it is not. Portions are meagre and prices are very high. Food is bland and largely tasteless with an over indulgence of 'spice' to try and confuse the taste buds. I ordered a take away and when I picked it... More
