My friend and I went for dinner and cocktails and we were not disappointed. Great atmosphere and the decor is all authentic Italian and really quirky. We had two courses and the food was hot and tasty. The garlic bread was the best we’ve even...had - so light! Service was excellent too and our waitress was called Teoni who could not do enough to make sure we had a lovely evening. We will be back.More

Visited as a family and had a very average experience. The lady who served us was unsure if the specials were running on the evening we visited and also 1 person in the party received an incorrect pizza from what they had ordered. Quite disappointing...as didn’t feel it was value for money.More

Absolutely delicious food and wine … one of the best seafood pastas my husband has ever had and the pizzas we ordered were perfect! Only missed out on 5 stars due to service … when we arrived for our booking we were made aware that...they had a problem with bookings and asked if we thought we would be done in 90 mins - we said that would be fine (it was a v busy Sat night so totally understand the need to turn tables) we were then ignored for about 15mins …. Bizarre … service after this was friendly and efficient but it was not a great start! Regardless would definitely revisit!More

Good food very odd service, they had lots of staff but very slow and dismissive service, only 3 tables in who the owners made a fuss over and left us ignored in a very small restaurant we felt embarrassed and upset. Not the way to...treat locals. Such a shame we love to support local independents.More

Our 2nd visit to this gorgeous little Italian we had the most amazing melanzane alla parmigiana & garlic bread and the pasta was fresh and cooked to perfection great choices on the menu too, our waitress Tionie was so lovely nothing was too much trouble...and she was polite, attentive and welcoming. I ordered pizza t/away last night (saturday) ortolana with double chilli, there was no chilli on the pizza. The reason I ordered double chilli is that 2 weeks ago I ordered pizza with extra chilli and there was no chilli on that either. Is there...a reason why there is no chilli when I paid extra for it? Maybe. The pizza was still good though. The other annoying thing was, rather than put a complaint on here I tried to 'contact' them through their website but it says their email is not working. I don't see why I should phone them with a complaint.More

Fantastic authentic Italian / Sicilian cuisine in a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. I had trofie al granchio which although packed full of flavour is made with a subtle touch and not too rich which can be overwhelming. My wife had pizza ortolana, full of...flavour on a deliciously cooked thin crust base which 'we' both thoroughly enjoyed. A delicious meal in a great location and absolutely we recommend Sale & Pepe.More
