A delicious home cooked Sunday lunch, served with a smile. The treacle tart was warm with a dollop of ice cream, and it was so good, we ordered another portion!

Very much a locals pub but friendly to us visitors. Appeared to have several rooms/areas and cosy just as a pub should be.

Day trip to Whitstable. Best Sunday Roast I've had out in a long time. All cooked to perfection. Roast potatoes were crispy and we had extra gravy. Veg was cooked just how I like it and the portion size was just right. The staff were very friendly and chatty. There was even a biscuit for the dog on offer

Visited this pub on a day trip to Whitstable recently, it may not look much from the outside but I highly recommend it, especially if you are partial to a pint of Masterbrew. The pub is small, and has a beer garden to the rear, friendly staff and the perfect pint, if your in town give it a visit.

We were a party of six who met up here from all over Kent which had been organised by one of the group. Instantly made very welcome and shown to our reserved table. We were served by the most delightful character Jenny, who we later found out is the landlady. "Character" just begins to describe this fine lady and the... More

Absolutely fabulous. Haven't had such a fantastic Sunday dinner in any pub as good as this. Staff were amazing and very friendly. Would definitely recommend. Very reasonably priced too. Desserts and starters very generous too. Will defiantly be returning

One of the oldest pubs in Whitstable - 17th century. Great atmosphere and good pub grub at good prices. Small paved area outside for sunny days, Welcoming Landlady.

Often visit for Sunday lunch and it really is the best in town. Generous portions and the puddings are to die for - all home made. VERY reasonable prices - best to book up as they do get busy
