Full at lunchtime , so obviously popular. When I came back, kitchen closed. All they could offer was coffee and some stodgy, dried out cake. The wait staff were not exactly warm and welcoming.

We waited 45 minutes for two breakfasts which arrived cold. The staff were friendly and replaced them without a problem, but we then waited another 40 minutes for new meals. The food was fine, nothing special. Excellent coffee, however.

We stopped here for a coffee break. This very neat cafe is ideal for coffee with an offer of coffee and cake £4. Very good value and extremely tasty home made cake. Coffee was very enjoyable as well friendly staff.

We were out walking and were ready for a coffee and rest, and Elliot’s was just the right place, Coffee and Cake for £4! We both had Lemon drizzle which had been baked that morning, it was excellent very lemony.

It's a nice location on harbour street, pleasant interior, friendly service. Chose an Elliot's English for £8.50, plus the avocado and egg veggie option. For £8.50 you get a sausage, an egg, one rasher, a tomato, half (?!?!) a slice of black pudding and 2...More
