It was a grey morning with the odd shower, so us sitting outside, I suppose, was an odd choice. However the call of having a hot breakfast by the see was irresistible.
It was good, but not as good as it could have been. If...More

went there on a spontaneous trip on a September weekend. Great seafood and chips and to our surprise excellent dessert (freshly prepared doughnuts with ice cream). tables are right next to the beach and it's protected from wind.
Lovely day so a great afternoon at Whistable. The staff we met were super friendly, knowledgeable and very efficient. The oysters were great so we had 2 rounds. Great doughnuts too!
Thank you very much from all of us!!

Yes a short walkaway there is a large public car park you do have to pay but it is very reasonable. On one day Thursday I think part of the car park is used for a market. Very interesting but uses parking places.
