My mum and dad have been here before and as they know I love fish they was very keen to take me for my birthday. Well I can say it did not disappoint this living room vibe restaurant was delish the seafood was to die for, you have to take your own alcohol as they don't have a licence but... More

We went with friends for a birthday party, having booked at least three months ago to get a table. Such a cosy little place and fabulous food, from starters to puds. Will definitely have to go again.

Wheelers has long been our very favourite in Whitstable and holds many fond memories. Some years back my partner and I had our first weekend away in Whitstable and ate at Wheelers - I was spellbound - and ever since we have been returning never to have been disappointed by the delicious and superbly cooked food or Dee's warm and... We managed to get a 5oclock sitting on a Friday night at wheelers in whitstable. The restaurant has been shut for almost 6 months. We sat in the original part of the restaurant. A quirky room, very much like a front room. We ordered a dozen oysters to get us in the mood 6 with tempura batter and 6 with... More

We have eaten at Wheelers several times over the past few years and we were not disappointed. Our meal was superb, served with a smile and was excellent value for money, especially the rock oysters. We would eat there again when next in the area. One small niggle concerned trying to get coffees. The staff seemed to have disappeared by... More

We walked in hoping to get some takeaways but ended sitting down at the seafood bar for lunch. The lady serving behind the seafood bar was very friendly and attentive. We has some whelks, cockles and jellied eels to start with, they were nothing special, in fact the cockles were rather bland they are much better from the market in... More

Everyone who loves food should go there at least once, you need to book two months in advance and is worth it. Local food sourced well, simply and expertly cooked, great service, one of those feel great experiences. They were offering the chance to bring your own wine, or use the well stocked off license across the road, which means... More

We didn't book but luckily they managed to fit us in at the bar. We had some small plates chosen from the display at the front which were super, especially the fresh samphire with our smoked salmon. The main courses were well presented, tasty and fresh. Given the fact you can bring your own wine this keeps the cost down.... More
