We booked in advance for this place for outdoor seating and were very excited. They were were unwelcoming at the entrance and in an empty garden with loads of empty tables (all same size) offered us the only one without a shade and on the...way from entrance to tables. We kindly asked for a table with shade and they refused, in an empty restaurant. It is a pub garden in a back alley, is not a place where you would book a specific table, as if there were a view. Will not ever go back.More

Love this cafe but today was very disappointed. Checked on their website, on here and google that they were open in a Monday and all said they were. Travelled for 30 mins to find the shutters down. Asked in the fabric shop to be told...@no we don’t open on Monday’s” Explained my frustration at travelling so far to be told that their website doesn’t show they are open today - but it does!! We visited this lovely place when travelling to see Tottenham play at Burnley. Parking was easy and we were welcomed in and a table found quickly - The place was busy but waitress had time for us. The 4 of us had a lovely lunch...that was of high quality and served quickly - Nothing bad to say about this place - A must visit if you are in the area - Will be returning next year.More

Called in here around 1.30 hoping for some lunch. We were advised that the normal menu wasn't available as there was no Chef. Took a look at the menu that was on offer and decided I could do better myself back at home. We left...at this point. Compared to what is usually on offer at the Bobbin and what they were offering customers on Saturday in the circumstances they'd have been better being closed for the day.More

Visited The Bobbin for lunch on Saturday as a party of 7. The Chef was off so the menu was very very limited to a few sandwiches or paninis. After ordering two of the party who were having chicken piri piri sandwiches had to return...them as the bread would have bounced off a wall it was that hard. Another of our party who ordered a ham sandwich was then told theyd ran out of brown bread! Bearing in mind this was only 12.30 it was a shambles. We were so looking forward to visiting this cafe after reading previous reviews but sadly we will not return.More

Lovely yummy snacks and meals. Friendly northern service and a pretty relaxing interior. After all that shopping, a great little sparkle of a place to have a brew and a piece of delicious cake!
