My partner and myself went for lunch today it was very busy but we got a table after a short wait, after looking through the menu we decided the specials board was to our liking, we shared garlic bread to start, main was a gammon dish for my partner, myself I chose shredded beef in a seeded bun, both meals... Had a nice lunch on a Saturday the place was very busy . However the service was good and the food was great and nice choices on the menu so well worth a visit and the garden centre is also very nice so a good little trip out.

We visited in the week and it was busy but managed to get a seat within a couple of minutes. Tables are quite tightly packed in making it a bit of a squeeze. The menu was extensive and I had the fishcakes, they were 2 large fishcakes and were very tasty, a side order of sweet potato fries which would... More

We just fancied sandwich and chips and this place didn't fail us. It was table service and we were served promptly with a smile. The steak and onion ciabatta and chips was the order of the day and we asked for garlic mayo to dunk the chips in. The food was spot on! We washed it down with a pot... More

I have wanted to take my sister to Shackleton's/ The Pavilion for ages, and today was the day ! After a good look round the store, we moved on to The Pavilion for lunch. We opened the door and it was packed ! We managed to find a table for the four of us and having decided on our choices... More

We have often arranged to meet as a family here because we can mix some shopping for garden equipment and materials with homeware and fabulous food in the Pavilion Coffee House. Sunday was no different and we started with a 12:00 lunch for 3 generations. Plenty of spaces in the Restaurant area, with tables suitable for up to eight people,... More

I went here last Saturday for lunch with my mother and we had jacket potatoes which were very nice, so was the coffee. As it was a nice day all the seating outside was taken, and the cafe was very busy, so we sat inside. There is an interesting menu, and the staff are all very helpful, only complaint was the... More

I often stop here for a coffee when I'm working in the area. They serve very good coffee at a fraction of the price you'd pay in most places. The staff are prompt & courteous & always very smart. Had a ride out on Sunday (30miles each way) to have some lunch & a browse around the adjacent garden/furniture/gift centre,... More

A majority of cafes at Garden Centres seem to be a way of the owners extracting profit for indifferent food when the plants aren't selling. The Pavilion is very different. The food is of a high standard and options are available to suit all diets and tastes. Since I found this place, I use it every time I'm in the... More
