Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Unfortunately, I am not prepared to let a small number of idiots set off orange flares inside, start fights and wreck the place as they did on the previous two occasions that Blackpool played Fleetwood. Since then we have spent £10,000's refurbishing the place and...More

I have been a customer in this pub for over 30 years. I frequently eat here with friends. I have always liked the pub and the local vibe it has. Tonight after all this time I met the landlady who was beyond rude to me....She mentioned the new chairs they had outside, and l pointed out that as disabled person l couldn't sit on them. Next thing she is in my face telling me to go and drink somewhere else. I have never been spoken to like that in my life. I am absolutely disgusted at the way the landlady of the Strawberry Gardens treated me as a customer. I have no words she was beyond rudeMore

I am sorry that you don't like the new seating in our smoking area, however, we must point out that previous to the dirty and untidy seats we have just replaced we used to have wooden picnic tables and we didn't get any complaints about...More

Great pub that's sadly going downhill. Just witnessed the landlady tell a disabled person who said the chairs were uncomfortable to go and drink elsewhere. She was very aggressive and rude and seems determined to alienate the locals who have kept this pub going through...good and bad times . Pity because this pub has been a community long before this particular landlord and hopefully will be long after them. Shouting in the face of a disabled customer not acceptable.More

This was a strange place a pub but what I would describe as a Bistro. Despite strangeness the food was of a good standard and the service was swift. We shared three Tapas whitebait, tempura prawns and homemade crab and leek croquettes all were tasty....For my main I chose the battered Haddock fillet with lovely crispy chips and mushy peas I( I am not a fan of soft chips these were great). My partner enjoyed the steak pie and this was a slice of pie not one in a pot which was pleasant surprise and was loaded with tender beef this was served with chips and peas. Although the food was very good the atmosphere let it down for me but don't let that stop you having a try.More

The meal was plentiful well presented and delicious! The steak pie was full of meat and the rump steak cooked to perfection. We will definitely go back!More
