I found a great 10 mile walk around stocks reservoir starting from Slaidburn and with google maps also found where to park as well. Upon arriving I knew that there was either a pub or a tearoom where we could get a bit of breakfast...More

A little gem. Seating outside if you order downstairs, but there is waitress service upstairs, but this is not too obvious. A good selection. Can get crowded at busy times (good weather)

A really quaint building serving genuine delicious home made food. Proper pies with pastry top and bottom and jummy puds. Only criticism was the tea was like dish water a little staff training would soon put this right!

Called on a busy Saturday, so had to wait about 25 mins for our meals - but well worth it. Lovely home-style hot dishes (mince & veg pie, and fish pie, both with ample new potatoes and various fresh vegetables, all beautifully cooked) served with...More

Stopped here today for coffee. At out front in glorious sunshine watching the world go by (well few cyclists & ducks) Scones were amazing. Lovely village. Well worth a visit if your out and about in the area. Lovely friendly staff.

Beautiful location, best on a fine day when you can sit and enjoy the view of the river (the cafe itself is tiny inside). Home made pies and cakes are nice. You can get a full meal, an all day breakfast or light bite e.g...More

Called for lunch & had a really good meal. Service was excellent & there was a good choice on the menu as well as a special board. There is outside seating (far too cold!) & the cafe is upstairs which is fairly small. There were...More

My husband and I along with our two young grandchildren visited here yesterday, we also had with us a 17 week old Hearing Dog puppy who was welcomed with open arms ( and a sausage which we regretfully had to decline). The food was good,...More
