During the current situation the Anchor has adapted to make a brilliant environment for both dinning and enjoying a drink. The food served was absolutely sensational and the steak I had a 38oz tomerhawk was cooked to perfection. 100% will be visiting again

Sadly the Anchor has seen its share of problems, from the previous management being closed down for hygiene irregularities (although the food was still excellent ..) to small numbers of local supporters and limited numbers too of destination vistors. I'd like to support the Pub,...More

A proper friendly locals pub. The beer is kept well, it is cosy and welcoming. The best Sunday lunch for miles and so reasonably priced.

They defiantly do a mushroom pasta dish that my partners had before - he said it was delicious. I believe they also do pizza breads and salads which could be a vegetarian option.
