Called in for a quick drink last night and was quite shocked how poorly prepared the pub was for safe visiting. It seems that there had been some kind of function earlier in the day and the pub was very busy outside, which would normally...More

Almost a year to the day since my last visit and had nice lunch of scampi, homemade chips, and peas. Really enjoyed it. Like the fact they stock local beer from the Grainstore Brewery too, some good pints to be had. Not often I find...More

We spontaneously visited on a Saturday evening without booking but were able to find a table. The selection on the menu was good and we were pleased with our choices. Service was friendly and efficient.

Very friendly welcome and great service from the lady behind the bar. Lunch was fresh, tasty and well presented. My "fussy" friend was particularly impressed with the delicious homemade chips. Thank you, we will be back!

Thought it’d be a lovely country pub but found no atmosphere and food barely average. We’ve been 3 times so have given it the benefit of the doubt but won’t be going back.
