Just the place for lunch. Plenty of large tables & no pressure from staff. You order at the bar & give your table number. Extensive menu but food seems well presented & tasty.
The pizza wraps are delicious & come with salad,coleslaw & crisps.
Historic pub and eatery. Lots of cosy corners to find, or larger areas for groups. A range of special ales on offer for beer connoisseurs. In December when we visited, they also had mulled wine and cider on offer.

Well what can I say. Easy to organise and I emailed our food choices over a week fore hand. Food was absolutely delicious and well presented.

A collection of indoor rooms and a huge area outside, much of it covered, to chose from.
We chose a sunny spot while the numerous floral decorations were being removed ready for a new seasonal display. Young children enjoying a large play area.
This was the best meal we had during the week (when we were eating out of course).
An interesting large pub with lots of different rooms. More unusual items than most places on the menu. Wife had a duck pizza and I had Lamb kebab....More
