Mexican Night Success

The Thorold goes from strength to strength under the leadership of Ed. Really enjoyed the Mexican night (a well-needed mid-week treat). Excellent food and service as always. Looking forward to the next visit.

Excellent Food and Service

Lovely pub, great lunch

Booked ahead for lunch after doing the local 5-mile walk. Not been before but will definitely be back. I had delicious sausage and mash with vegetables while my wife enjoyed a lovely thick gammon steak. Really tasty, well presented and excellent service. Highly recommended

Great local venue

Been to this pub a number of times in the past few weeks. Food and service always excellent. Friendly atmosphere adds to the experience. Will be back.

Amazing!!

Very warm and welcoming pub, food is of a very high standard and portion sizes are enormous! I even ordered a small portion but couldn’t manage it all. All staff including the manager Ed are very friendly and smiley. A credit to the local area!...More
