Went here in March with our daughter who is a pescatarian coeliac. Connie couldn’t have been more helpful and we had a really lovely meal where nothing was too much trouble.
What a fantastic night. Had tried to book for my birthday but unfortunately couldn’t get in so went to The Gamekeeper (see previous review) tonight was classy brilliant food waiters knew exactly who ordered what always attentive with drinks but not obtrusive. Took time to...Converse in Italian for my daughter who lives in London and was trying out phrases, she said it was on a par with London restaurants food wise and ambiance. Well done will definitely be backMore
A warm welcome followed by tasty bruschetta, we chose sea bass, monkfish and lobster ravioli all were absolutely delicious. The lemon meringue dessert was exactly as I like it, tart lemon with a huge meringue top. We all thoroughly enjoyed our evening. It was our...first visit to this area and we chose well thanks to trip advisor reviews.More
We visited on Saturday Evening for my fiancé's dad's birthday. The food was exceptional. It was fresh and tasty and the specials were great also. Not one complaint by any of us and there were 8 of us in total. Jhedan was a brilliant host...for our table, checking if we wanted extra drinks and checking all our food was ok, bringing pepper and parmesan cheese for our meals. He even brought a flaming shot of sambuca for the birthday boy. Fab night had by all we will be visiting again. Thankyou!More
We were a table of 8 and had to pre-order. Not sure why for a smallish number but we did anyway. However even with pre-ordering they forgot our starters and brought our mains out, 35 minutes after us arriving. My friend had nearly finished her...main by the time she got her veg to go with it and they forgot one of the main meals so my other friend sat and waited 10 minutes after we had all started to get hers. The food was lovely don’t get me wrong but the service on this occasion was poor.More
Amazing food, every dish we had was delicious and presented well. Great selection of wines. Pudding was amazing!! The service was excellent.
I mean, the place was full at 6.30 on a Thursday evening, tells you everything you need to know!
First time I have been to this restaurant and extremely impressed. Nice and relaxed atmosphere, never felt rushed at any point. Friendly helpful and professional staff.
3 courses for all our group and the food was authentic and tasty, already looking forward to coming back....Thank you for a lovely evening.More
Absolutely wonderful food. We had a 3 course meal and everything was fantastic. Could not fault it at all we thoroughly enjoyed and cannot wait to return. Definitely recommend. 5*
This was our first visit after another lockdown and was not disappointed. Food was fantastic and the service was lovely as usual. Such an amazing atmosphere and my favourite place to go in Scunthorpe. See you again soon!
