I was taken here as a treat for my birthday and I loved it! The service was impeccable from start to finish. Everyone was so polite and extremely helpful. We had the 7 course taster menu which was absolutely delicious and the sommelier helped me out with wine. We also very much enjoyed being allowed into the kitchen to make... More

Brought a friend who had never been on this visit and she loved it. Food was excellent as always, staff very relaxed, friendly and knowledgeable. Wine and gin delicious. It never fails and we could even see Colin cooking in the kitchen.

First, it's only fair to point out that the food was absolutely delicious. We had the 9 course tasting menu on New Year's Eve, and as always, the chef and his team delivered innovative, thoughtfully presented, and above all, tastebud-tantalising dishes. Standouts were the mushroom linguini, the roast venison and the lemon posset. The chocolate soufflé disappointed insofar as it... More

It's been some time since my visit as I don't TripAdvisor much. But this place is truly amazing. Every course was perfection. Lovely surprises. I didn't know I had so many taste buds!! I would Definitely recommend this restaurant and will definitely return. My only regret is not getting the cheese course. Can't wait to return

Making our annual visit, we were not dissappointed. This time we had our Christmas lunch in the larger room, where you can see something of the staff working in the kitchen. Lunch was as expected - great choice & flavours - wonderful, service. This is a top class restaurant with the service that goes with it Enjoy

Once again a fantastic experience. Menu surprise with wine over 9 courses. The quality of the food is special. Flavours, textures and presentation are amazing. Stayed in the Birkitt Suite, its lovely accommodation and makes the experience all the nicer for being peaceful and comfortable. Again I would like to make special mention of the team at Winteringham Fields. They... More

Isn't this enough recommendation to say that we have been enjoying the food, the ambiance, the service, the rooms for overnight stay and finally the "winteringham experience" or should it be "The Winteringham Experience" for 11 years. Once experienced, never forgotten and to be returned again and again and .... Leslie Giller

We had a superb mid week winter break at this amazing 'rooms with a restaurant' where both the rooms and the restaurant are of the very highest standard. A beautiful tasting menu featuring a magnificent beat root meringue and venison that melted in the mouth which were just two of many highlights. Lovely helpful staff made the whole experience most...
