Called in for Sunday roast two sizes to choose, small and large, we opted for the large it came served by Emily piping hot with a big smile and so pleasant. We had two roast dinners pint of Guinness and a wine bargain at £20.50. Will definitely be back, couldn't ask for any better. Sunday roast is a most. 5*

Went twice during a recent short break the food is amazing and great value, the young girl working there was friendly and made us feel welcome. It could do with a bit of TLC and be more visible drive too quickly and you could miss it. Would recommend the pub/food.

Visited here for Sunday lunch while in the area on a short break. No hello, hi or even a smile. Food was ok and a really reasonable price at only £5.50 for a small or £6.95 for a large - small was a decent size. 2* review is for unfriendliness of staff, hour long wait for 2 Sunday dinners and... We called in here just for a sandwich. The beef was thickly cut and a good quantity. The taste was excellent and not at all tough or chewy. Nice side salad too, and everything quickly and pleasantly served. Prices good too. Well worth a visit

My husband, daughter and I stopped at the Dotterel inn for a bite of lunch. My husband had the steak pie, daughter had sausages, mash, peas and gravy and I had the gammon steak. They were all home made, huge and tasted amazing. The price was very reasonable too - £32 for lunch including two pints and a fruit shoot.... More

Went with friends for sunday lunch. Good home cooked food. Very tasty. I had small portion (which was big enough for me). Lovely big Yorkshire puddings. We were all too full for dessert. Nice day out.

Excellent roast dinner here last Sunday. Quality, well cooked & presented food at a very reasonable price. Get there in good time or you'll find it full. Serves 12 noon till 8pm so there's plenty of time.
